On December 5th, the Northwest Christmas Ships will send it’s combined flotilla along the Vancouver waterfront! 

Each year, the Christmas Ship parade averages 55 to 60 boats between the Columbia and Willamette River fleets. The vessels don intricate and creative displays, shining bright for guests along each riverbank to enjoy. The combined fleet will assemble at the James M. Gleason Boat Ramp at 7:00pm and prepare for departure to Beaches restaurant in Vancouver. Starting at about 7:30pm, the ships will parade along the waterfront, continuing west under the I-5 bridge towards the Vancouver Waterfront Park. The fleet will remain outside for about two hours, weather (and river) permitting.

This is a free, family friendly tradition, cherished and enjoyed by many in the community! Several waterfront restaurants and parks will provide excellent opportunities to see and enjoy the parade, and more information on the fleet’s route can be found on the Christmas Ship Parade website.

Can’t make it to the parade? No worries! This combined fleet will embark on the I-5 Bridge route for the following dates in December: 12/5, 12/10, 12/17, and 12/19 (weather / conditions permitting).
