The fourth annual Country Shindig Concert & Dance to benefit the Veterans Memorial will be held on Friday, April 14, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the Battle Ground Community Center. The event, presented by Columbia Credit Union, features local favorite Branded Band. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, as will raffle tickets for prizes such as private wine tastings, a weekend at the beach, gourmet baskets and more.

The Veterans Memorial, located in Battle Ground’s Kiwanis Park was dedicated on November 11, 2015. The names of 31 honored veterans, local Battle Ground service members who died in service to our country, are engraved on its walls. The memorial was fully funded by donations, evidence of the community’s steadfast commitment to honoring those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and those who died protecting our freedom.
