Veteran's Day Ceremony 2021

Join us in honoring veterans with a free public ceremony and special activities including Free general admission to the Fighting for the Right to Fight Exhibit located at the Artillery Barracks building on the grounds of Fort Vancouver. The Exhibit will be open at 9:00 AM with the traditional Veterans Day Ceremony being held at the 11th hour on the 11th day. 605 Hatheway Road.

The observance will include words of tribute by special guest speakers, musical performances by local schools and military displays. This year’s keynote speakers include  Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, Vancouver Police Department Chief Troy Price and Retired 1st Sergeant Michael Robertson.

 

The Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC) with the support of Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver Clinic, The Historic Trust and Creekside Mortgage invites you to come and celebrate safely with us.

You are also invited to visit our WWII exhibit Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in WWII, which will be free to enter for everyone that day.
