Voyageurs, the Cheminot met on Monday, June 8th and has agreed to open the Chateau now that we are in PHASE 2. We will begin by opening on Thursday morning, June 11th from 7 – 9 AM for coffee, donuts and some long awaited conversation. For the time being we will only be using the Lounge and there are a few changes that you need to be aware of. These have been published by Clark County Health and must be followed;

1) When signing in you will have your temperature taken and are required to answer a few health questions.
2) Go to your table and a waitress/waiter will bring you your coffee, take your money, give you change (if necessary) and offer you a choice of donuts (if you paid for one).

The tables are set up to seat four (4) people. You cannot move tables together or add additional chairs to a table. Masks are required when entering or leaving the building. You can take your mask off at your table. No moving from table to table. There are a few more rules but these are the most important.

There are some of you that might think that these rules are too much of an inconvenience. However, this is just one aspect of the new NORMALS we have to get used to as long as this virus is out there.

We will open again on Saturday, June 13th from noon to 5 PM for social gathering. The same rules apply.
