Coffee Club announcementJoin us to Honor, educate and build community among Veterans.
Each month we gather to honor each others service, build camaraderie and friendships. Our community grows and hearts begin to glow. Bring your family, friends and all those who wish to honor the service our veterans.

June 21st, 2018 WWII B-24 Bombardier & B-17 Alliance Crew lead Paul Payne has over 20 years working with restoration crews and providing educational tours. He has a passion for knowledge and sharing it. Evergreen Aviation Museum has housed many of his models and B-17 Alliance will have the pleasure of viewing them at the Veterans Coffee Club.
July 18th, 2018 Community Tour:B-17 Alliance Veterans Coffee Clubs from Salem & Milwaukie will visit the All Nations Native American Veterans Memorial. Last fall the curator of this memorial was our guest. Now, we will be his. will leave the Bomber Restaurant at 8:30 am and a caravan will leave the B-17 Alliance Museum in Salem at 10:00 am. July 19th, 2018 Linda Tamura is Professor of Education Emerita, Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. She is a Sansei (third generation Japanese American) and daughter of a World War II veteran. Raised on an orchard in Hood River, Oregon, Linda is also the granddaughter of Japanese immigrants.  In addition to Nisei Soldiers Break their Silence, Linda is the author of Hood River Issei.
She is very involved in projects, exhibits, and organizations educating and celebrating the history of Japanese Americans in Oregon. As a former elementary school teacher and a university professor, Dr. Linda Tamura is a teacher of teachers and an educational leader.
August 3rd, 2018 Milwaukie, Veterans Club will gather to OPEN the B-17 Alliance Fly-In at the historic Salem McNary Airfield. Carpool from The Bomber Restaurant to the event at 8:30 am. Veterans who are part of this group will enter the event for free.
August 16th, 2018 The Incredible Journey of The Bomber as narrated by Punky Scott. Punky Scott delivers this adventure with humor, character and enthusiasm. Chosen for National Television review on “Unusual Inheritance”, Written in and shared by hundreds of National and local magazines, most recently in “Hemmings Motor News”. This is a story you’ll want to hear. Punky is as close as it get to straight from the horses mouth.
Punky’s Scott is the daughter of the late Art Lacey, the original owner and pilot of the Bomber Gas Station. She began working at the gas station as a toddler. She was managing the station in her parents absence by age 16. She still owns and operates the Bomber Complex Restaurant & Catering Business and is an active board member for B-17 Alliance Foundation.
